Frequently asked questions

To use CloudFlyt, you will need an Nvidia Shield media streamer, a CH Sim Yoke and Pro Pedals, a TV with HDMI input (45"-55" 4k preferred), and a fast Internet connection. If you use WiFi, it needs to be 5G (not 2.5). Certain models of Sony Smart TVs have the Android Streamer built-in, they can be used without the Nvidia Shield.
CloudFlyt supports the Nvidia Shield media streamer with Android TV. In order to provide a high-quality and predictable experience for aviation training, we selected the Nvidia Shield, which has an extremely good video decoder and user interface. Some newer TVs with Android TV built-in (Android 6.0 or higher) will also work without needing the Nvidia Shield.
No. CloudFlyt is intended for educational and professional training purposes. Our flight simulation is delivered by a professional license of Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, which is a serious platform which is used by the military for F-22 and F-35 flight training. We strongly recommend using CloudFlyt in conjunction with an integrated flight training program under the supervision of an FAA certified instructor (CFI).
At this time, our platform does not allow for creating custom training missions. However, we are delighted to hear your suggestions and requests, as we are always developing new training missions. If you are a Prepar3D developer, please contact us, we may be able to host your training missions or aircraft designs.
